Analog Collage

Raised in a desert and replanted in a garden, Jaclyn Joyce only came to understand herself through her art. It is because of this, that she devotes the whole of herself into all that she produces and views her work as pages ripped from her personal journal.

Each piece is a manifestation of constant self-reflection, memories, and emotions. These shifting influences can be seen through different approaches the artist takes in using a variety of different stylistic choices and mediums. From richly colored oil-painted still life’s, india ink and charcoal portraits made-up of large simplistic flowing lines, to a collection of small images mashed together to create dreamy analogue collages.

After recently having “Blossoming Mind series - N°5” featured in Soup Can Magazine, Jaclyn will be showcasing some of her new work at a future Soup Can event in the spring of 2022.
